| The Department is headed by Dr. V.C.B Kumar, FRCS, DLO (Otolaryngology). |
He did his MBBS in the year 1970 at M.R. Medical College, Gulbarg. After graduation he went to United Kingdom for training in Otolaryngology in 1978.He did his FRCS (ENT) from Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow in the year 1984 and DLO from Royal College of Surgeons London in the year 1983, subsequently worked in various hospitals in National health services, United Kingdom in the capacity of Senior House Officer and Registrar in ENT surgery. Associated to The Bangalore Hospital as ENT consultant since August 1991.He was the President of Bangalore branch of Association of Otolaryngologist of India (2000-2003), Member of Organizing Committee of 54th AOI National Conference in Otolaryngology held at Bangalore in January 2002.
He has presented various papers in national and International conferences

SPEECH THERAPY for Stammering, Corrected cleft palate patients, Delayed speech, Mentally retarded children, Voice problems such as Hoarse voice, puberphonia, Incorrect pronunciation of words and Aphasia in elderly after stroke.
AUDIOMETRY For children with hearing loss- [a] Congenital [b] Due to ear discharge, Screening for normal hearing, Noise induced hearing loss, audiometry for elderly persons, Infant screening, and Pre-employment screening.
HEARING AID trial and fitting will be done.
