Medical Records Department
The hospital has a fully
equipped computerized medical records department. Qualified,
trained and experienced Medical Record Keepers manage this
department.
The hospital has also appointed a Senior
Medical Records Consultant to oversee the functioning of
the medical record system. Various forms and stationery
have been designed with the help of medical record consultant
and other medical consultants for effective use in record
keeping.
Out-patient and in-patient records are
separately kept. Exhaustive and detailed discharge summaries
are always provided to the patients. Computers support the
medical record system. Coding of the diseases or operations
are done as per WHO recommendations.
